When using the Sprint methodology there is an active reassessment after each sprint, that is after a set of assigned tasks have been completed. The reassessment is vital as you are actively tailoring the parameters of the situation and the capabilities of each team member without any risk to the organisation. This allows everyone on the team to operate to the best of their abilities, and as the leader you can maintain control over how much exposure you will have.
